The 20th edition of Hong Kong Cricket Sixes was held from November 1 to November 3 at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground in Mong Kok, Hong Kong. Organized by Cricket Hong Kong and sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC), the tournament featured 12 nations competing in a high-octane three-day event. The tournament format included a round-robin group stage followed by knockout rounds, culminating in finals for the Cup, Plate, and Bowl categories.

Hong Kong Sixes 2024 Final

Sri Lanka emerged victorious in the Hong Kong Sixes 2024 final after beating Pakistan by three wickets. In the match, Muhammad Akhlaq led the Pakistan team with an impressive performance, scoring 48 runs off just 20 balls, which helped his team reach 72 runs in 6 overs. However, it was insufficient as Sri Lanka successfully chased the target in just 5 overs.

Dhananjaya Lakshan was named the Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling performance. He took two wickets while conceding only six runs, marking Sri Lanka’s second title win at the Hong Kong Sixes tournament.
